DT SWISS front wheel 29" XR 1501 Spline One 22.5 mm | 15x110 mm thru axle Boost
The DT Swiss Spline One wheels are made from the best ingredients from the traditional Swiss manufacturer. The new rim with an inner width of 22.5 millimeters is a whopping 2.5 millimeters wider than the previous version. This results in more tire volume for the same tire width and the wheels offer more comfort and traction on the trail. The asymmetrical rim design enables load-optimized spoke angles and thus increases wheel stiffness. With proven hub inner workings and high spoke quality, the Spline wheelsets are beyond any doubt when it comes to durability and robustness. With its low weight, the XR 1501 can be accelerated easily and is therefore ideal for cross country use. The wheelset is delivered with extensive accessories (see scope of delivery).
DT Swiss 240 Spline hub
A DT Swiss 240 hub rotates in the center. This stands for reliability and smooth running. Likewise, most maintenance work and inserting a different rotor are possible without special tools.
Tubeless ready rim
All rims of the Spline wheelsets are equipped with a tubeless compatible profile. So all you have to do is glue tubeless tape and insert the tubeless valves provided and the Spline wheelset is ready for tubeless use. The rims are connected using a special welding process, which is the best and most durable connection of a rim. Subsequent milling guarantees a technically and visually clean rim joint.
Straightpull spokes
The Spline wheelsets are built exclusively with straightpull spokes. This ensures a very high level of rigidity in the wheel and, by eliminating the sensitive spoke arch, ensures a very high level of durability. In addition, the spokes are double butted with a tapered middle section. This reduces the overall weight of the wheelset and increases the durability of the spokes. PHR nipple system
Stands for Pro Head Reinforcement System, in which the nipple and rim form a kind of ball joint. This ensures a larger contact surface between the nipple and the rim, which makes it easier for the nipple to align. This means the spokes are always at the right angle to the rim and the forces can be transferred better. The DT Squorx nipples have a Torx mount on the underside, which ensures a better tool holder for more precise centering. On the outside side, the Squorx nipples can still be tightened with a conventional standard nipple wrench.
