The Darimo Carbon MTB handlebar is the result of countless calculations and tests to break to reach a record weight of 90g at 700mm width.
This handlebar is made entirely of carbon with a unique arrangement and orientation of the individual layers for the best weight-stiffness-durability ratio. This type of production can only be realized by 100% manual work because each width has its own, load-oriented arrangement of the layers. The driver has passed the ISO 4210 test, but there is still a weight limit of 90kg for the driver including clothes and luggage. For examinations up to break loads beyond the 350kg mark were necessary.
The 31.8 mm handlebar clamp is suitable for current oversize stems. Darimo recommends a 4-bolt clamp with max. 50 mm wide. Furthermore, all handlebars from Darimo have a reinforcement on the handlebar end to minimize the risk of damage in the event of a fall.
NOTE: The instructions for the product must be observed! Torques must be strictly adhered to. The clamping area must be observed and the handlebar must NOT be shortened.
