The Carbon forge of Darimo, which is located in beautiful Valencia on the east coast of Spain, has been producing some of the currently lightest carbon parts for XC bikes for some time. With the Ellipse Gravel handlebar, the Spaniards aim for the group of weight fanatics with Gravel bikes. Thanks to the 500 mm width you have countless possibilities to lay down your hand comfortably, to assemble accessories such as a lamp, bell or a bike computer and he brings with only 190g weight pleasing little ballast for the scales.
The handlebar is available in four different finishes (UD gloss or matt, 3k gloss or matt) and a width of 500 mm, measured from center to center. The Ellipse Gravel handlebar has a compact reach of 77 mm and 128 mm drop. The flattened upper part provides comfort, if the tour takes again the whole day. Laminated guides on the underside for brake and shift cables help you to assemble everything perfectly.
In order to achieve the sensational weight of 190g / 500mm, to pass the standard ISO test for handlebars and to be able to release the components up to 110 kg system weight, Darimo Carbon uses a specially developed method of lamination and only the highest quality carbon fibers and resins are used Commitment. The 31.8 mm handlebar clamp is suitable for current oversize stems. Darimo recommends a 4-bolt clamp and tighten it to a maximum of 3.5Nm. In the clamping area of the shift / brake lever, a torque of up to 4 Nm is permissible.
NOTE: The instructions for the product must be observed! Torques must be adhered to. If the necessary know-how or tools for the correct installation of the handlebar are missing, the installation must be carried out by a specialist workshop with appropriate knowledge.
