CYCLOWAX Clean Chain Starter Kit | 11-speed
"A clean chain for everyone" is the motto of the young company CYCLOWAX. Enthusiastic about the cleanliness of a waxed chain, the founders developed the Cyclowax Heater, in which you can (re-)wax a grease-free and clean or already waxed chain. The wax penetrates deeply and keeps the chain clean with a transparent, smooth coating, ie no more dirty hands and annoying cleaning and easy transport without any chainring tattoos. Thanks to the reduced friction, you save energy and at the same time extend the service life of your drive.
With this CYCLOWAX Clean Chain Starter Kit, you can easily convert your bike to waxed chains. With the help of the included preparation kit, you prepare your drive for the waxed chain, which is also included in the set. So that you can wax again, the device including a wax tablet is included. With the innovative Cyclowax app, you can easily keep an eye on your waxing intervals.
Cyclowax heater
In this device, the wax tablet is melted in just 10 minutes and the bicycle chain can be dipped into the wax using a wire. This cleans it and gives it an even, transparent, smooth coating. It is then cooled using the wire on a chain hanger and excess wax can drip off. The included silicone mat keeps the surface clean.
Note : The device is operated with 220 volts and can also be used with 200 volts thanks to the adapter. Adapter is not included.
pre-waxed chain 11-speed
The CYCLOWAX chain is pre-waxed, powerful and was developed together with Connex by Wippermann, which is known for its particularly durable chains. Thanks to stainless steel with an innovative nickel coating, it is robust and corrosion-resistant. The high-performance plate geometry allows for smooth shifting. Together with the wax layer it is a unique combination. In order to get a smooth-running drive, the chain should be waxed after approx. 250 km in everyday use. In addition, re-waxing after wet rides is recommended.
Note: Check your chain regularly with a chain tester and replace it as soon as the wear limit of 0.5% is reached.
Preparation kit
With this kit you can clean your drive system including the chain in order to be able to optimally use the advantages of a waxed chain. Thanks to the included brush, drivetrain cleaning sting, cleaning cloths, you can get to every part of your drive and the cleaning agents loosen dirt and grease.
Performance Pro wax tablet
One wax tablet fits perfectly in the Cyclowax Heater and is enough for 8 chain treatments. You should wax your chain again after driving a maximum of 500 km. Compared to the base wax, friction-reducing additives are added to the Performance Pro Wax tablet, which ensure even less friction.
