Continental simply uses all of the latest and best technologies. Polymers, soot particles and fillers optimized down to the nano range guarantee the unique performance of the BlackChili compound. It revolutionized the basic conflict between grip and rolling resistance. Approx. 30% more grip and a 26% improved rolling resistance compared to the silica mixture ensure more performance and safety.
Continental tires are made entirely of this high quality rubber compound. Thus, the tires can be worn down to the carcass without losing the first-class properties of the rubber!

Protection APEX
Enduro is the name of the discipline that has been enjoying increasing popularity for some time. It is the technical challenge of fast, hard descents and strenuous climbs. This requires a combination of a puncture-proof structure and good rolling properties as well as excellent grip. The proven ProTection layer protects the tire from cuts and punctures without excessively increasing the weight. The additional apex sidewall stabilization reliably protects the tire from punctures even at low tire pressures. To optimize weight, there is also the option of driving the tire together with Conti RevoSealant "Tubeless Ready". A non-slip BlackChili Compound tread provides the optimal pairing to drive efficiently uphill and downhill without a breakdown.
