CONTINENTAL tire Cross King 26 x 2.20 BlackChili RaceSport
The Cross King was developed together with the Topeak Ergon racing team. The aim was to be able to offer a tire that rolls well and achieves the necessary grip off-road. This created the versatile Cross King, which was equipped with all the technical refinements of the company Continental and is equally suitable for dry and wet weather.
The Cross King is entering the new season with a changed profile. It claws into the ground even better and helps you to win valuable seconds in the race. Due to its relatively large volume, it has very good internal damping and protects the driver from tiring too quickly.
Handmade in Germany
These tires are among the highest quality produced by Continental. They are sewn by hand in the Korbach factory and set special standards in workmanship and quality.
BlackChili Compound
At Conti, BlackChili means above all that grip, rolling resistance and durability are combined at a level that one can almost believe in magic. Continental simply uses all of the latest and best technologies. Polymers, soot particles and fillers optimized down to the nano range guarantee the unique performance of the BlackChili compound. It revolutionized the basic conflict between grip and rolling resistance. Approx. 30% more grip and a 26% improved rolling resistance compared to the silica mixture ensure more performance and safety.
Continental tires are made entirely of this high quality rubber compound. Thus, the tires can be worn down to the carcass without losing the first-class properties of the rubber!
RaceSport
Uncompromisingly designed for use in mountain bike racing: The RaceSport carcasses combine consistent lightweight construction and noticeably better puncture protection at the highest level. Together with well-known professional mountain bikers, we have created the perfect starting point for competition tires. Handmade in Germany, they offer rolling resistance and puncture protection at World Cup level. The construction makes the difference: a particularly fine and flexible nylon fabric, elaborately manufactured, protective rubber coating and universal foot. Together with the legendary BlackChili Compound, this is the ultimate combination for XC and Marathon Race.
