Maximum performance, uncompromising lightweight construction and aerodynamic efficiency are combined in the Carbon-Ti X-Rotor Aero brake rotor to create a solution at WorldTour level. Developed for the UAE Team Emirates and optimized for time trials and fast stages, it meets the highest demands for speed and control.
Optimized in the wind tunnel, the flat carbon spider reduces air resistance to a minimum and thus supports more efficient progress at high speeds. At the same time, the proven steel friction surface, taken from the X-Rotor brake discs, ensures consistently high braking performance even under demanding conditions. Despite consistent weight optimization, sufficient surface area is available to ensure powerful and easily controllable deceleration. A sophisticated hole design noticeably improves heat management and contributes to consistent performance even on long descents. The friction surface and spider are not rigidly connected to each other via titanium rivets, but with a defined amount of play. This floating bearing enables stress-free expansion of the friction surface under thermal load. Rounded edges not only meet the current safety requirements of the International Cycling Union, but also facilitate threading into the brake caliper during quick wheel changes.
A Center-Lock rotor with AFS lockring is supplied, specially designed for Campagnolo and Fulcrum wheels. Thanks to the modular design, the disc can also be used as a 6-hole version. To do this, the adapter is removed and it is fitted to your wheel in the classic way using six bolts. This ensures quick and uncomplicated wheel changes at all times.
