Braking simply means braking - and that's exactly what the INCAS 2.0 from Italy can do in every situation. It doesn't matter whether you're floating over flowing trails, falling down steep descents or going on bike tours with your e-bike, you'll always come to a standstill reliably.
The beautifully milled lever and transmitter unit is definitely an eye-catcher on every bike. The look is very similar to motocross and definitely stands out from the uniform mishmash of other manufacturers. The flawless finish in gold-bronze shine ensures a lot of viewing pleasure even after years. You control the braking power with the handy 2-finger lever. This is painless in the hand even on long descents. For individual adjustment, you can adjust the reach and also the pressure point with the help of a 2 mm Allen key.
A special feature is the interchangeable cylinder unit, called INCAS (INterchangeable CArtridges System). You can choose between a unit with a transducer diameter of 9 mm or 10 mm. This influences the functional characteristics towards more power or better dosing and thus also adapts the system to the area of intended use . The brake offered here is supplied with a 9 mm brake cylinder. The removal is described in detail in the operating instructions and can be easily carried out with a little manual skill. If you are unsure, contact a specialist workshop.
In order to avoid pressure losses and achieve greater sensitivity, the brake fluid is routed to the brake caliper through a steel braided line with Kevlar reinforcement. Two pistons with a large 26 mm diameter work in this and powerfully press the pads onto the disc. The outer shape and the use of materials were chosen in such a way that the heat generated when braking is dissipated as quickly as possible and fading or a migration of the pressure point is largely avoided. In addition, attention was paid to reducing the weight and high rigidity.
