The Kiox from Bosch is an on-board computer for the ambitious driver. Kiox combines the classic functions of an on-board computer and at the same time gives you access to the digital world via the smartphone app. On the color display you always have an overview of all driving data - and thanks to the separate control unit, the handlebars and terrain are firmly under control. Kiox records your trips and sends all relevant data to the eBike Connect online portal via the smartphone connected via Bluetooth. That makes Kiox your perfect companion on every tour. You can network with an optional chest strap via Bluetooth and are always informed about the current heart rate range - for optimal training. The Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interface also offers the option of downloading software updates to your on-board computer without a cable connection.
The most important functions at a glance:
- Light: The connected light can be easily switched on using the mechanical button on the Kiox.
- Settings: Settings can be changed quickly and easily using the status overview. For safety reasons this is only possible when the vehicle is standing.
- Charging option: External devices can be charged via the USB interface, for example a smartphone.
- Overview: In the off-board mode you get a summary of your daily activities.
- Service: A display informs you about the next service appointment - thus ensuring that the bike components retain their value and have a long service life. The specialist dealer can easily connect the DiagnosticTool via USB for software updates.
- Pushing aid: The 2-stage function supports you when pushing the eBike at up to 6 km / h - whether with or without luggage or when overcoming obstacles.
- Distance measurement / wheel circumference: The fine adjustment of the wheel circumference can be done by pressing a button. In this way, highly accurate distance measurements are possible even after the tire has been changed.
- DualBattery Support: The charge level of both batteries is displayed in the status overview and thus provides valuable information about the discharge behavior while driving.
- A talent for languages: Whether German, English, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Swedish or Portuguese: Simply set your desired language.
- Shatterproof glass: whether dirt or stone chips: the display made of scratch-resistant glass is a good partner on the trail or in town.
- Readability: The 1.9 ", transmissive color display guarantees perfect readability even in strong sunlight. And since the background lighting adapts to the lighting conditions, everything is perfectly readable even in the dark.
- Training: Network Kiox via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) with a heart rate monitor such as B. Polar H7. So you can control your heart rate and align your training optimally.
- Magnetic holder: Quickly stowed away and well secured when jumping in rough terrain: The magnetic holder allows the on-board computer to be easily removed and attached while maintaining a firm hold.
- eBike Connect app: Kiox meets smartphone. With the eBike Connect app, Kiox can be connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth Low Energy. There you can change certain settings or evaluate your own activities - for a very personal, networked and interactive eBike experience.
