BIKEYOKE Saddle SAGMA Carbon | orange
Due to the many new technologies that are used in the SAGMA, you could describe it as perhaps the most advanced saddle that you can screw on your bike as a mountain biker. Not only the new high-tech foam, the PU skin covering or the rail suspension design, but also the ultra-short construction are ahead of their time and the competition. The popular saddle is now also available with carbon seat stays, which reduces the weight. If the saddle seemed too heavy for you, then there is no longer an excuse to equip your bike with it.
Despite everything, saddles are and will always be a tricky topic, because even the most expensive and/or supposedly best saddle is of no use to you if it doesn't fit your butt perfectly. Due to the shape, the padding used and the foam material used, the SAGMA can adapt to a wide variety of buttocks and thus cover a wide range of requirements and preferences. Nevertheless, BikeYoke offers it in two widths: 130 mm and 142 mm.
Recommending an absolutely correct size/width is very difficult as there are many factors to consider. The often mentioned sit bone distance is just one possible item on the list. The seat angle, the body position, the handlebar position, all of these also play an important role and a template alone cannot adequately depict this.
One recommendation that BikeYoke would like to give is that the 130 mm wide Sagma will be the more suitable saddle for downhill-oriented riders. The width of 130 mm simply gives you a bit more legroom on hard and fast descents.

Rail suspension design
With the BikeYoke Sagma, the saddle shell is connected to the carbon seat stays via elastomers. In addition to the good cushioning, the saddle can tilt slightly to the right and left and thus follow the pedaling movements of your buttocks. This reduces friction on the saddle and improves power transmission.
