The innovations include the now very elaborate 3D forged and CNC machined, one-piece upper telescopic tube unit. In contrast to the previous two-piece, bolted version, the one-piece production allows wall thicknesses to be defined on the tube and gives the tube increased stiffness in certain load directions.
In addition to the structural updates, the new models also feature a number of other minor improvements, which together justify the name 2.0.

Technology
The REVIVE is the first and support on the market, which has a patented REVIVE valve. With this, the seatpost can be vented in a few seconds and thus reset. In the REVIVE is a very simple hydraulic system based on the principle of an open oil bath. Other supports separate oil and air by a floating piston. The problem with using a floating piston is that a 100% seal must be guaranteed. Otherwise, air will migrate past this piston to the oil side and the seat post will start to bounce when extended. In practice, no seal can ensure a long-term 100% seal and so it happens with many supports that they have to be regularly serviced to be bled.
The REVIVE does not require this separating piston, thus ensuring a defined and smooth operation. If it comes to air entry into the oil bath you can bleed ultra-fast and just as easily via the seatpost head without dismantling the post or the saddle. 4 mm hexagon socket tool or bleed key (Quick-Reset-Lever) pure, turn 30 ° to the stop, retract the post and turn the tool back - Done.
Maintenance and service
The REVIVE is designed in such a way that a complete exchange of wear parts such as slide bearings and guide stones is possible with standard tools and without special prior knowledge. If you are not sure that you can do the service yourself, we recommend to have it done by a qualified mechanic.
