The Biturbo RS is the flagship of the Würzburg carbon experts. The impeller is a consistent, innovative and unique further development of the classic Biturbo S. Even more aggressive looks, even lighter and even wider. Ready for new records on the world's racetracks and your home trails! The angular, aggressive design of the Biturbo RS makes one thing unmistakably clear: These bikes need action! The sharp lines underline its sporty character with reduced weight and increased stability and rigidity at the same time. The use of high-strength carbon fibers makes it possible to optimize the laminate structure in such a way that material properties are present exactly where they are needed. This can be felt in incredible acceleration and enormous driving safety off-road. Despite the powerful design, there is not the slightest doubt that this is an absolute high-performance lightweight product. The special arrangement of the spokes is optimized for use with disc brakes. The twisted construction follows the power flow during braking. The cross-sections of the rim and spokes are based on the principles of aerodynamics. The Biturbo RS follows the current trend towards more comfort and driving safety through the use of wider tires with its increased internal width of 27 mm. This ensures ultimate directional stability when cornering, even with low air pressure. The DT-Swiss hub interior with the proven toothed disc freewheel system ensures high durability and reliable traction.
Carbon in perfection
Years of development work in Germany combined with high-quality carbon fibers and selected manufacturing processes enable a top-class product. At BIKE AHEAD COMPOSITES, the production takes place exclusively in-house in Germany, thus guaranteeing the highest quality. The impeller not only convinces with its low weight, because special attention was also paid to the resilience of the rim flange during development. The unique monocoque construction enables a wheel construction that is unrivaled in terms of stiffness - at an extremely low weight.
