The Würzburg carbon manufacturer has taken on the topic of electrically assisted mountain bikes, which is becoming more and more present, and has directly introduced a complete product range. The Biturbo E is a further development of the Franconian flagship Biturbo RS. In the 6-spoke design typical of BIKE AHEAD, with an inner width of 27 mm and a modified layout, it is prepared for the higher system weight and the increased driving dynamics typical of e-bikes.
Carbon in perfection
Years of development work in Germany combined with high-quality carbon fibers and selected manufacturing processes enable a top-class product. At BIKE AHEAD COMPOSITES, the production takes place exclusively in-house in Germany, thus guaranteeing the highest quality. The impeller not only convinces with its low weight, because special attention was also paid to resistance to punctures during development. The unique monocoque construction enables a wheel construction that is unparalleled in terms of stiffness. The targeted reinforcement and adjustment in the laminate structure creates the basis for withstanding the higher loads resulting from the e-bike-specific driving dynamics - light, resistant and durable.
