The revolution of a carbon mountain bike rim! The unique Safe-Wing-Profile with an inner width of 30 mm for an incredibly wide range of uses.
The 30 mm rim, the heart of the THREE ZERO wheelset, does a lot differently than conventional rims. The innovative safe wing profile enables the tire to be perfectly supported and the associated soft rolling over the rim flank. An advantage that you can experience directly with low air pressure and wide tire cross-sections. The tipping of the tire is minimized to such an extent that the air pressure can be reduced by an average of 0.2 bar without risking the carcass smearing or tipping. This significantly increases grip, driving safety and comfort.
What is particularly special about this rim design is its puncture resistance. Typically, the rim flanges are constructed as a standing carbon fiber laminate, making them more prone to delamination. The Safe-Wing-Profile, on the other hand, has a completely surrounding laminate, so the material on the rim flange is closed and protected.
