BERG Hub Set MTB Straightpull 6-Hole BOOST | Freewheel SRAM XD

The founders of the still young BERG brand started with a simple mission: They wanted to develop the best possible lightweight products for ambitious MTB marathons and cross-country riders at an affordable price. In order to be prepared for tough racing conditions, no compromises were made in terms of durability when developing the BERG components. Behind the brand is a small team of committed mountain bikers, engineers and bike mechanics from Belgium.

With a total weight of just under 300 grams, the BERG hub pair forms the perfect starting point for an ultra-light XC wheelset. The aluminum hubs are visually impressive with their elegant straight pull design and the BERG logo lasered in white. The hubs also know how to impress with their inner values. The built-in SKF bearings ensure a long service life and low frictional resistance. A toothed pulley freewheel with 45 detent points per wheel revolution guarantees instant acceleration and quick response in technically demanding passages. BERG uses 6 toothed disc springs for even power transmission. In addition to the built-in XD freehub body, a Shimano Micro Spline compatible freehub body is optionally available. If the hubs need to be serviced, they can be dismantled in just a few steps without special tools.
In order to guarantee the safety of their components, all BERG components have undergone intensive test drives and extensive tests in accordance with the ISO standard in Germany. In order to guarantee the high quality standards in the long term, the tests are repeated on different product batches.
In addition to the 2-year guarantee, BERG offers a 3-year crash replacement with a 40% discount on all components. For a lower ecological footprint, all BERG components are supplied in 100% recyclable packaging.
