Beast Components was founded in 2016 by students at the Lightweight Design Chair in Dresden. Given their origins, it was important from the outset to incorporate the latest scientific methods and the current state of technology into the development of the products. The close collaboration with the Institute for Lightweight Construction at the TU Dresden also helps them.
Beast Components products are characterized by their combination of lightweight construction, stability and exceptional appearance. But the company founders are also aware of their social responsibility. Instead of outsourcing production to Asia, all components are handmade and tested in-house in Germany. Because the fiber structure of the components is not hidden behind a layer of paint, the high manufacturing quality and clean workmanship are obvious.
The extremely robust Riser Bar 25 2.0 can be ridden without hesitation on the toughest enduro routes and even in downhill use. From cross-country to enduro or trail bikes. By using the highest quality materials in combination with a sophisticated layout plan, a first-class balance between flexibility, vibration damping and stability could be achieved. This ensures precise steering behavior and plenty of safety reserves on the trail. The driver was also able to prove this by passing the toughest industrial test on the test bench.
The 2.0 version is characterized by specially reinforced clamping areas. Some brake lever clamps in particular cause unfavorable clamping forces that, if tightened too tightly or twisted, damage the carbon structure and, in the worst case, can lead to the handlebar breaking. Beast Components counteracts this problem in particularly stressed areas with a special polyester prepreg fleece and a load-appropriate carbon layer structure. This protects the handlebars from deformation and notches. In addition, the design allows tightening torques of 6 Nm, twice as high as most carbon handlebars on the market. Visually, the Riser Bar 2.0 impresses with its flawless carbon structure and the subtle, black Beast logo.
