The hub body stand out for their excellent workmanship, finely lathed surfaces are evidence of high standards in manufacturing.
The inside of the hub is against dirt and moisture shielded with well-fitting lip seals. The generously dimensioned Ceramic bearings are also encapsulated and so need no maintenance. This promises a long and trouble-free life of the hub, or the entire constructed therewith impeller.
The freewheel was realized with five each 5 mm wide pawls, they engage in a steel ring gear with 30 teeth. In the freewheeling mechanism steel provides the least wear and stresses at this point, the durability of these hubs. The fine 30-step extension of the toothed ring ensures a pleasant contact without annoying idle motions of the crank.
Especially in the construction of the impeller, the attention to detail of this hub is noticeable. The engineers at Acros have given much trouble to bring her boss the best flange geometry. To meet the company's requirements, the flanges of the hubs were bent even in the spoke angle, so that an optimum, linear power flow and a high rigidity is ensured.

To prevent pitting of the cassette in the alloy freewheel body should the cassette cover ring be possible tightened. Fats they purpose the thread of the final ring and pull it to the specified torque on the ring firmly (usually 40 Nm!).
