TRICKSTUFF brake disc Dächle HD 203 Heavy Duty
Trickstuff brake discs have been the first choice for many years when particularly high braking loads have to be mastered. With the help of the proven friction ring with its special hole arrangement, the dreaded glazing of the pads is successfully counteracted.
The newly revised brake discs also have a roof-shaped bevel (Dächle) on the outer circumference, which considerably simplifies the assembly of the impeller, since the rounded chamfer makes it easier to thread the brake disc into the brake caliper.
In addition, there is more material on the friction ring than is the case with most brake discs today. Because the heat that inevitably arises when braking has to be absorbed for the most part by the brake disc and from there released back into the ambient air. With more material, the new Trickstuff discs ensure worry-free braking on long descents and when braking continuously and are the ideal complement to all current super-light brake calipers.
Trickstuff guarantees an extremely precise thickness of the discs plus/minus 0.005 millimeters, the final dimension is 2.05 millimeters. A particularly high-quality stainless steel is used as the material, which is tempered at 1,100 degrees Celsius and has a hardness of at least 36 HRC. The panes warp less when exposed to heat, are mechanically extremely stable and have an extraordinarily long service life.
